Tip: Read the manual that comes with NT 4 Workstation BEFORE you start installing it, not after you start installing it. I've just deleted everything I had on my secondary machine. Thank * I was sensible enough to back up my vital files first......

one could wonder why you would be installing such an old operating system..... but one would have to be really bored to care.

Hmmm, guess I should've read the mannual before installing XP over the weekend. My win98 se had become so buggy, it was the only way forward.
Surprisingly enough it worked. Although it took be f* ages to get the network card installed properly. Helpful error message saying "The Data is invalid". Turns out the graphics card drivers had messed up a vital part of the registry. Lots of fun finding that problem. NOT.
