It used to read out the address of the website before it started playing which always made me laugh, because if you didn't know the address you obviously wouldn't be listening.

It does that on most of the .ram files on radio1 online, but they could be linked to from another site so you could be playing it without knowing the radio1 page address.

Yeah - it's probably Radio 1's way of making sure people don't link in from other sites. Although if people were desperate enough to do that, they could look inside the .ram file and find the direct link.
