Whilst his 'House Party' antics got tedious to say the least, Noel's radio output all those years ago was truly top notch.

I can't wait to see what Mr Tidybeard sounds like back behind the mic.

I liked the House Party, but it went way downhill when they started taking things too far. They should have kept it simple.

I have to say, radio 2 is great at the momment.

We have Allinson on breakfast instead of that stupid Wogan bloke.... and Mark Goodier in the evening, who is a legend in my opinion. We also don't have Walker, and I know its sad circumstances why he's not on air - and hopefully he will make a full recovery, but I've never actually been a fan of him - so we get Maconie instead. Who knows what Edmonds we be like. Now, if we could get rid of Wright, we'd be sorted.

and Ken Bruce remains one of the best broadcasters ever, just behind Simon Mayo and Moyles.
