Yes hence my orginal question would there be enough trees around to chop down in order to do it, if not you could just use the old rope trip trick.

No I think Geek is a highly miss used word for people who can't think of anything else to use. Then again most people use words wrongly these days. Everlasts example of the word legend is just one.
I'd only use the word geek if someone was doing more bizzare strange acts like biting off a chickens head.
Someone who likes Sci-Fi shouldn't be labelled a geek anymore than someone who reads any other form of fiction. If you know them to be strange and different from what is classed as a normal social grouping then they would be classed as Geeky, but with out fully knowing the true nature of the person you can't just automatically label someone as something with out knowing there full likes.

Then again most people do it and I spose it's just one of lives strange little inperfections that make up everyday life and in the end it's up to the person to think what they like. So all in all we are back to square one.

Wheres the fact then? i when i think of a legend i think of people that will be remembered for years to come, nobody is going to remember Jon or David Dickinson in five years time, there are just flash in the pan celebritys who will last as long as todays milk. In the future when i look back on 2003 i will think about the war World Championships in Cricket, Atheletics David Beckhams move to Madrid the music that was played but i wont look back on that bargain hunt prat and the uncharismatic 9th place big brother contestant

topher - were you close to Myra Hindley? dont know if she was MK local.. What does it feel like to have some really legends virtually on your doorstep? does it make you feel scared at night that charles could one day kill you?

Hindley was never in Woodhill, I think there was once talk of either her or Brady getting relocated here, but there was a huge protest about it (dunno why - maximum security prison - obviously you'd never think of putting either of those two into one of them things.)

Huntley is here and Charlie Bronson too. Bronson only went down for a minor crime I think, it's just he kept taking other prisoners and screws hostage and stuff. I'm sure he wouldn't hurt me, I hate coppers too... :)

There are enough trees in the high street to take out scout walkers (they line both sides, it's kind of nice).

The rope trick would work too.

This whole AT-AT thing stemmed from a very drunken evening where we discussed the biting issues of the day, not just the logistics of getting an imperial killing machine down the high street, but also things like whether the pub was moving or we were moving down the bar (the pub was moving, not us!) and also managing to come up with a valid and explainable reason as to why the brewery should pay us to drink in its pub. :)

Therefore, it doesn't really make me and my mate geeks, just drunken fools, which we already knew.
