Does the mix selector still happen? I thought they got rid of it ages ago... but I havn't listened to Dave Pearce properly in about 3 years.

Richard Allinson is a great presenter. First ever show I listened to properly on Radio 2. Makes it sound so easy. He's been fantastic on the breakfast show for the last three weeks, and he played Friday I'm In Love by the Cure the other day which is one of the best songs ever - so he deserves to replace Wogan.
If they gave Radcliffee the 10.30pm - 12:00am slot, that would be interesting. I always listen to that slot, Mark Goodier has been good on it the last three weeks... but then in my opinion Mark Goodier is always great.
Marks on for Steve Wright next week. He's one DJ that has to go. Pity I'll miss it due to holidays. and then of course the mighty Noel Edmonds starts on Monday.

Having just mentioned that - I think your right. It would be like to old days of Mayo in the morning again. Although I am a big fan of Ken Bruce.
And that concludes another round up of my Radio 2 talk... Yes, I'm an old grandad.
And speaking about Radio 2 and holidays... The other week Janice Long (yes her) was talking about holidays so I emailed in saying I was going to Norway. Then last night I emailed in asking for the name of a song that had been played, and I got a reply with the name of the song and she also asked me had I been to Norway yet. I said no, but I was going on Monday - so to cut along stories sort, she demanded I sent her a postcard... so I have her pigeon hole address now.
So the only postcard I send from holidays this year... will be to none other than Janice Long. Rock N Roll.
