The place where everyone hangs out, chats, gossips, and argues

anybody else go this year?

i thought it was * amazing, there were so many incredible bands.

just ordered think tank, the darkness, thrills, hot hot heat and polyphonic spree. polyphonic spree were fantastic and i was quite surprised how good a reception they got with it mainly being greebo/rocker type people watching.

blur were definitely the best, i want to thank the genius who gave them a 2 hour set. they played all the old classics but didnt play country house and all i could hear on the way back to the tent was ppl muttering about country house, i think everyone was waiting for it.

darkness were the best crowd pleasers, i think less than jake went down really well with the crowd too. huge skanking circles and circle pits are a death trap!!!!!!

I have Anthem, it's a good album. I was in Virgin Megastores the other day and was really surprised at the amount of albums they have out.

Only managed to go to the last day of Reading this year due to a friend's marriage but Metallica were fantastic as always, even if they just played the same set list they've being doing all over Europe for the last month and a half. Plus the announced another gig on Dec 20th in London.
System of a Down were good but a bit weird. Never heard them before, might have toi give the cd a try.
Good Charlotte were forgettable and the Used were just plain crap.

Also saw Mark Thomas in the comedy tent, he was really good except he got a bit OTT by the end of his set. I think he was disappointed we didn't all immediatly run out and destory the government.

Wasn't the same gogin to a festival for one day. Next year I'm definitely doing the full weekend.
