Just choose shit you think you can do ok in. GCSE's are a piece of piss and as long you get whatever you need to get into 6th form, they prettty much become useless after that.

EDIT: also...PE? what the chuff. if someone had told me I had to do PE for a qaulification, Id have told them to f' off. I once swore at a teacher for making me do the bleep test again after I dropped out on 2.3 or something. I hated that subject, they told me i had to get excirsise somewhere. I rode my bloody bike to school and back and around a paperround each day the dildos.

I'm currently applying for placements and they're asking for GCSE results. I'm pretty sure its irrelevant at what subjects I actually took but its helpful to actually have decent grades still.

Saying that, whenever we get CVs in and we have a nose at the grades, we take the piss if they're all A*s and As. Can't help but feel they won't be that much fun.

I know, its not just retail, the more I get into HR work the more I realise that many employers are ignorant of employment law, data protection law, equality law and recruitment legislation, and those that do know about it ignore it. Guess its just the way things are.

RE is the easy GCSE though. I remember you couldn't be wrong as every question was asking about your opinion on something.

Meh, would rather do something else I might actually enjoy than sit through a subject I can't stand for 2 years just to get a decent grade out of it.

Bearing in mind that statement and the fact the best GCSE grade I got was in drama, it will tell you alot about me.

not really. I have decent grades but i do good getting my part time jobs as well, cos im full of charisma and present myself that way. we've just done a peer review of everyones CVs at uni, and all of them except mine contained more or less the same paragraph about being punctual, mature and other qaulities. its boring. JAZZ IT UP FOLKS.
