I've got loads of old shows sent to me from from Jamiec21 from 2005, and I edit and upload those when I get the chance. But I'm already editing and uploading the current shows, and I've got a few other things going on, so I don't get to do it as often as I'd like. But there will be more of those coming soon. And hopefully other people will have some too.

Am I right in saying that Aled (5 head) Jones has all the shows and has anybody asked him to be very generous and hand em over?
Bit of a side question: I've put up a topic post but I'll ask here aswell. Can anybody help with OFFICIAL show photos'. If you can put them up on this site or point me in the right direction then please tell me. Cheers.

Well he's certainly not going to illegally distribute hours of copyrighted material whilst he's at the BBC, either with Moyles or without. Maybe anonymously years down the line.

I would love it (from a professional and consumer point of view) if the BBC paid people like me to create edited versions of all the iPlayer shows for the iPlayer, with the music and news edited out, and with fades. Because I really don't like the majority of the music on The Chris Moyles Show (hence the editing), but I love the talking and the features. But it'll never happen

Interesting developments here so far, so Aled has kept all the shows he's worked on then, so that means anything from late 2002 (when Aled replaced Lizzie) up until present, Christ that's loads

I don't get why its copyrighted though? Is it just because of the music?

Everything would be copyrighted, down to the music they play to the links and the jingles (the latter copyright of the BBC and/or which independent company created them). The ideal situation would be for the BBC to host these kind of archive programmes on their website, but the copyright situation would likely be too problematic to make it feasible, certainly on a large scale.

I have asked for it to be stickied, will I be able to still edit posts though if it was "locked", or not, if I can then mods please lock the thread if possible to stop the clutter.

It should be alright considering each post is now about a quarter of the length that the overall thing was before
