Yes, sadly. Though interestingly, the inbred, red-heads that now populate the Appalachian mountains came from Scotland (and Ireland) originally. It was during the Highland Clearances. They emigrated and settled up in the mountains. The poor things went from the natural beauty of Scotland to that. God, and now they play the banjo and have no Scottish accent. So sad.
