Just remembered that I played pool with a satanist last night. Really should go out on a Friday more often.

Had a good night last night. We lost the pub quiz but had my hair plaited by a viking.

I wasn't impressed by digital tv coverage tbh,
BBC Three have their own schedule, so I thought that it would be available all the time on the red button (BBCi which can be found without the button, on freeview I think its a couple of channels somewhere around 310) but it wasn't, In fact that channel was left empty for some of the time.
In my opinion they shouldn't have bothered with BBC Three, but instead had full coverage on one BBCi channel.
The thing is (as far as I am concerned) Yes, this was a free festival, Yes, I do appreciate what the beeb have done, but it should have been available to as many people as possible across the nation, (hey, that would also be a good future use for boring old radio 3!!) as the majority of people couldn't get to see it live.

It's all a moot point now anyway! Been and gone. Red button was ok but a bit too edited (except for Gossip which should've been edited so we didn't have to watch her climbing over barriers!) I agree that as a radio event it should've been broadcast live for everyone who wanted it on air. If they were worried about bad language they could've put a five min delay on it!

P.S - Gaspode you're very right, Cricket was ace yesterday!

They could easily have broadcast the entire thing on digital, because digital has a good 4 or 5 second delay after analogue anyway. That would be time for any potential swearing to be edited out surely. Oh well. Bring on the next license fee increase.
