Me and my friend were taken by her mum to get it. I bought the book, She bought the book, the quiz book and a pack of potter playing cards and her mum had all of our points, it was well high by the time we had finished!

The quiz book was half price and it's only a couple of £ anyway, playing cards don't cost that much so she was lucky to get 1000 points if that, which is still only around 50p

'Lyra's Oxford' is out 28th October and thats far more important, but I bet it won't get any of this amount of publicity.

Now thats a book I want to read. It is now on my christmas list (only 6 months!!). Philip Pullman is a damn good author.

He most certainly is, and he is an intrestiung character himself aswell from what I've seen. Bit eccentric but he talks alot of sense. I haven't read his Sally Lockheart books yet though, planning on getting those over the summer.

Yup, The Northern Lights, The Subtle Knife and The Amber Spyglass. You should try reading them again, trust me, though tis best to read them in order cos they are confusing enough as it is!

It's not the price I'm concerned about, it's just that I find paperbacks easier to read, and all my other Potter books are paperback.
