It's not, it's just that when the main server is down it starts sending people here.

No, it's not all the traffic from the main site, I think if the main site gets overloaded it throws people to the message board.

How'd you work that one out.

The reason for that is the stop-the-server-crashing measures I put into place. When the main server comes close to dying, it starts throwing people to this one (which has much less traffic, and much more capacity).

Yes exactly. When the server starts to crash it directs them here. So it's still not everyone on the main site it's everyone on the forum.

As far as i saw the site didn't evendo it this time.

He said something before which sounded like he was reading the Ask Aled thread but that is in the registered users area so if he actually was talking about that he must of been logged in to someones.

If he wasn't why would he need to log in as Aled?...

Aled only told him the other day about him posting on the internet so I don't think Chris reads this often. I think Aled allerted Chris to this thread. Maybe he will tell us, but I guess Chris (Harris) might know.
