I'd rather put Edinburgh in (or however you spell the stupid place) - Glasgow sounds ok.
Edinburgh is a lot better looking that Glasgow. Glasgow is a lot friendlier. Both are cracking places.
Put Dundee in. Noone likes Dundee.
the lady at the b&b where I was staying almost wouldn't take my cash, because she said I had "foreign currency" with me. I had Scottish pounds notes. D'uh.
It is surprising the number of people who don't realise that Scottish notes are legal tender.
It's ignorance.
and parked in a different car park only to find it impossible to find my car when I left for the day.
Bless. You can park? No wonder you couldn't find your car - all that extra brain power must have been struggling to get you into that space earlier in the day. You needed to get home and do some knitting.
Oh and most of the people there were VERY unhelpful.
How many people did you ask for help?
At least 15 in the space of half an hour - I told them what shops I had come past on my way in and they all sent me in the wrong direction. I also worked there for 3 months covering a manager and found the majority of the shoppers to be rude.
It's cos you're a woman and couldn't understand basic road signs. Then you obviously couldn't follow simple directions! Of course the customers were rude. You're Welsh. They knew they were better than you!
(Put Scotchland into room 101 will you?!)
