Thank you. He had tumours in his abdomen and lymph nodes. He was still ok, not in any pain or distress, but the vet said it would only be a couple of days max before he was - and I didn't want that. I only realised he was poorly last week, with hindsight, I think it has been gradually coming on for a while, but the last week he went into freefall really, he went downhill really fast. He was my pooky for twelve years.

I think my cat is, ,oh sorry, sorry about your loss yuddy, very sad, anyway back to me, I think my cat is up the duff ( about 9 months old and belly getting big, and nipples large) we have already paid to have them sorted, but have put it off, unwisely as it would turn out, or not as I am not sure how you can tell, apart from the fat she's getting fat, is spending more time away from home and has large nipple, any thoughts, and if they do have some would you like some yuddy ?

In response to Boboffs fat cat / pregnant cat issue - I congratulated a girl I used to work with on her being pregnant on Saturday night. Turned out she was just a damn sight bigger than the last time I saw her. I felt a bit awkward.

Well maybe one! But a cat that young will only tend to have one or two kittens, don't you think the Bobetes would be wanting to keep them? You should probably try to keep her in if you really think she is "in trouble" - you don't want her having them in a field or something. Mortality would be high with such a young cat anyway - she'll have a better chance if she's at home in the dry, with food and water available. Let me know what happens - right now I don't want another one, but I know myself well enough to know that it won't last!

That's what happened to our dog. It got to the point where he could barely stand up, so we had him put to sleep.
