a) be inundated with PM's

But how exactly would he be able to prove, if he wanted to, that he was Mr. C. Moyles?

First, he could say so on air.

Second, the BBC have three (or is it four) gateway IP's that they use, so anyone logging on from the BBC will have one of these IP addresses. That is 100% definitive, but it would cut out most of the posers.

And would they know the difference:
