Oh God yeah, I remember the cartoonz too now. Ugh.

My parents always used to play Chas & Dave 'Rabbit' when I was a kid and told me it was about me cos I talked too much. Probably still do.

My uncle also told me that mouth ulcers were called "chatterbox spots" and were caused by talking too much. I believed that for ages.

Charlalottie, I don't mean to come across all parental and patronising. But shouldn't you be revising?

According to the ever-reliable everyhit.com, they were called Cartoons and they had three hits, all in 1999 - 'Witch Doctor' reaching no2, follwed up by the rather less successful 'Doodah!' and 'Aisy Waisy'. They must have passed me by.

Sylvester McCoy

*falls off chair*

I think thats the funniest thing i've read in ages.

Brilliant.

Not according to the book:
"Dykes are wall shaped intrusions which cut across the strata of the rock they're intruding into. They're formed when magma oozed into a fissure and then cooled. There are loads of dykes in North West Scotland".

I have a feeling you have the same geography book that I had - I remember taking the pee pee outta that.

You also get Dry Stone Dykes which are basically walls built by piling stones on top of each other.

I was in the pub........ sorry..... getting quite drunk actually....... regretting it now. You know it's bad when you sit there in the morning doing kebab burps, despite having no memory of every purchasing the drunk man's feast.

Right I think I need to clear some things up, I am well aware what the slang meaning for Dyke is, I just not silly enough to find it hilarious as I have a more mature outlook on things. Also I didn't say I had entered a dyke, the dyke entered the wall thingy across the strata of the rock its intruding into or whatever. Also, grow up!

Come on, you find the word 'bum' funny, but not 'dyke'?

shame on you footloose. get it sorted :P

What did I say?? :?

voting for independence the day?

Without wanting to start an argument about the whole thing (I've managed it on two other forums so far) but I don't get what we want independence for? It comes across that folk have watched "Braveheart" and decided to paint their faces blue and shout "Freedom".

I think we are stronger together (Wales and NI as well). I appreciate that there are issues with the way that a lot of Scots feel that we are a testing ground for certain policies, but surely we could sort that out some other way than getting completly divorced from everyone else?

I agree with some of their policies, but I don't think its enough.

Plus - Alex Salmond is an arse.

Don't hate me.

I would vote for independance for Scotland, but not the way they want it - ie independant in terms of control, but still financially and economically dependant. Talk about having your cake and eating it - the Scots want it bloody deep-fried too.
