After reading page 3 of fridays birthday show thread, I'd like to say I think this place is brilliant, we've more character and personality on here than aled.info and UM and precious facebook/bebo put together - and should not feel guilty or give ourselves a hard time over it. It seems Aled has kind of disowned us a bit this year but he is producing the shows in the morning at the moment, to be fair.

I am both enjoying the show and being on here these days, I think we're just lumbered with this bad image, or reputation. Just coz most of us dont bother with facebook/bebo circus, hey?

EDIT: Since this be the day of my mention, I'd like to say thanks for all the clips I've downloaded off this site.

Tis true. There are some people who visit this place regularly, who don't seem to like the show whatsoever and have the need to tell us (why they come here, i don't know.) but as Mr Moyles would say; "if you don't like it, switch off".
However, the real listeners and actual regulars here may sometimes come across or sound that they don't like the show either, but generally (I'm not talking for everyone here) the threads here are mainly constructive criticism. For example; the thread about the "...30 minute rule..." or the one about repeating guests on the show which included some mixed reviews from both regulars and non-regulars.
That's how I perceive it anyways.

Keep saying it - newbies with brains and a sense of humour are always welcome here, always have been - it's just twats, fools, prats and idiots who get it in the neck. We get a fair few of those, but we get good ones too.

Ditto. I throughly enjoy myself here. The only flack i've ever got is when I've used bad grammar and/or spelling or made stupid ass comments - which then deserves a grilling.

stupid ass comments i agree on but does the rest really matter i think not

I agree with the stupid ass comments. As for spelling and grammar - It doesn't bother me too much but I see why people get annoyed by it! It's just unnecessary and can completely ruin the message people are trying to get across in the worst cases!
