With the upgraded forum there is a new and simpler way to embed external images, videos and other objects in your posts.
Previously you needed to use special 'tags' around your links, such as:
Now, you just need to simply paste the URL and the forum will automatically embed the object.
For example, if you type:
The forum shows:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ
It works with tweets:
Vimeo videos:
... and about 100 other sites
