lent starts tomorrow. I do it because its kinda traditonal for me. My nan started me doing it as a little kid and I remember how proud I was when I managed it first time, I gave up sweets and even managed not to eat any on my birthday, saved then until easter the next week. So I've always done it, despite my religious views changing as I've grown up.

when i went to america we had breakfast buffets every morning, all you can eat, and every day i piled my plate high with mucho mucho pankakes
